Sri Lankan food offers a vivid array of flavor combinations that you absolutely must experience!

In this hands-on class, Chef Skiz will guide you through the traditional cuisine of Sri Lanka using his impressive seven-course menu as a guide.

Sri Lankans refer to their cuisine as "rice and curry." As the name suggests, the typical Sri Lankan meal is composed of rice as the main course, served with a variety of meat and vegetable curries, salads, pickles, and chutneys. All the dishes are served together, so you get all the flavors — sweet, savory, spicy, bitter, sour — on one plate, and served alongside steamed, fragrant basmati rice.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Personable, prepared, patient and took the time to explain the need-to-know’s of Indian spices and traditional dishes. My wife and I went to Skiz’s residence together and had a wonderful time; will definitely be recommending to others!
