Prepare the burger seasoning. In a small bowl or ramekin combine the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and ground pepper.
Combine the burger seasoning and the beef.
On a cutting board, divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape into a ball. Push down each ball into a flat disk.
Place ¼ cup of shredded cheese on top of each disk. Make sure the cheese is directly in the center and there is a border of beef.
Use your hands to gently form the patty back into a ball encasing the cheese. Push down the ball into a ½-inch thick disk. Wrap three pieces of bacon around each patty, covering each side.
In a large cast iron skillet over high heat, cook the bacon-wrapped patties for 7 minutes on each side. (See notes 2-3.)
In a small bowl, mix together avocados and lemon.
To serve, place three pieces of bibb lettuce on a plate. Place one cooked bacon-wrapped patty on top. Add a heaping spoonful of smashed avocado.
Cover with three pieces of bibb lettuce on top. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
- Keto bread can be used instead of lettuce.
- If using a grill, cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
- If using an air fryer cook for 15 mins at 400°F.
