Chef Landi was a great and IвЂ™ll definitely be making these dishes at home. I felt the others in our group were pretty rude and inconsiderate, but he didnвЂ™t rush anyone despite going well over the intended class time. He explained why he did things as he went, how you could change the recipe if you wanted a different flavor, and even supplied boxes to take home leftovers. Very friendly, patient, and kind. Thank you for letting us into your home!

This was our first time doing this. I got this experience for my wife as a Christmas present. I must say it was superb! Chef Landi was amazing. He was very personable and an excellent teacher. The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this for a date night out, especially if you like to cook like we do.

Thanks to Michael, we had an exceptional night! The food was beautifully prepared and delicious, and our hosts were extremely welcoming and passionate for their craft. Michael's class was in depth and well prepared, and their kitchen boasts the perfect space for group instruction and demos. We will absolutely be returning to take more of Michael's classes as we were blown away by everything. Cant recommend this class as well as Michael's repertoire of other classes quite enough!

We had an amazing evening with Chef Landi! He taught us how to make delicious Italian food as he explained the ingredients, process, and technique as we went along. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he and I absolutely LOVED it!! It was so much fun, delicious, and a wonderful experience. It is fun to be in Chef Landi's kitchen, and he was a terrific host- teaching us and sharing his story with us. Highly recommend and it was a delicious and awesome experience, we hope to go to another class of his one day!

We had a great time taking Chef Landi's class! He made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Chef Landi went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions and we made gluten free gnocchi. Great food and better company! My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with a Cozy Meal Reservation and words can't explain how much I enjoyed the experience! Chef Landi provided an amazing step by step lesson to create the dish that was easy, informative and fun. The experience as a whole was intimate, intentional and a 10/10 experience I would recommend to everyone I know ( which I already am ). We enjoyed the food, which was delicious, but what brought it over the top was Landi's energy and personality that was such a pleasure to be around! This is a must!! We plan on scheduling another :)

We had such a wonderful night with Chef Landi! He gave us great cooking tips, had us be involved in every step of the cooking process, and the food was superb. He even printed out the recipes for us to take home and try. Not to mention how lovely his company was - such a joy to just chat with him and hear his life stories. I also would like to point out that he made every effort to conduct his class safely during this pandemic; everything was clean, masks were worn, distance was kept. Amazing flavors! Hands on learning. Highly recommend Chef David. We took the French cooking class. You will learn to prepare a Gourmet meal! This is a great date night or just a fun night out. A nice to change to the normal routine of going out to dinner. If you live in the New Jersey of Philadelphia area - this cooking class is worth it!

Just delightful in every sense. This was a surprise to my wife who is aspiring to be a chef and leave her software skills behind. Chef Landi did not just host us for a delicious experience but was humble enough to give a true insight of culinary industry and what to expect in that career. He walked us through the stories of his beginnings in Italy, Canada and how he fulfilled his destiny as a top chef. Coming back to the class, chef Landi has a style for teaching culinary where he pairs his instructions with a metaphor which makes it easy to pick things. It was very hands-on right from knife skills, chopping to making dough to detailed techniques of using pasta machine. Learning how to decide on ingredients & pairing them for making sauce was very worthful. And finally, watching chef make creme brulee from scratch, and providing intricate details of the procedure gave us a totally different perspective on how to approach it. All in all this experience gave us a lot more than we had expected and will be marked as a memorable moment of our lives. Thanks a lot Chef Landi and we hope to see you soon for another memorable conversation.

This whole experience was amazing from start to finish! Ted made an absolutely delicious meal and gave us a ton of great cooking tips and Karen left our kitchen cleaner than when they arrived! Easily one of our top meals ever, and all in our own home. Ted & Karen already feel like old friends!

I was skeptical of this experience at first, concerned about the quality if the class and also the flow of it. But I am beyond glad I booked it anyway! Chef David brings more to the table than just the actual cooking (which was gourmet and delicious) and the teaching. He shares his knowledge, stories and experiences that liven the conversation and also provide more color to dish we are making and thoroughly enjoying. My fiance and I both agreed the entire experience was so much better than dining at a 'fancy' restaurant and we got to take home all the yummy leftovers! Thanks Chef David, see you again soon!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of attending the Southern Italy on a Plate cooking class at Chef Landi's home in South Philadelphia this weekend, and we couldnвЂ™t have asked for anything more. From the moment we arrived, Chef Landi made us feel incredibly welcome, sharing stories and insights into the cuisine and culture of Southern Italy, as well as his home country of Albania. Chef LandiвЂ™s knowledge of Italian cooking was evident throughout the class. He walked us through each recipe while explaining the techniques, ingredients, and tips that made each dish work perfectly. We began with a Caprese salad for an appetizer, learning how to properly layer the fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, then topping it with homemade pesto and a balsamic glaze. For the entree, we made Potato Gnocchi Bolognese. Step by step, he showed us how to make the Bolognese sauce and then how to roll, cut, and shape the Gnocchi's from scratch. We finished the meal with a Vanilla CrГЁme BrulГ©, which was exceptional. What really stood out was Chef LandiвЂ™s ability to make everyone feel comfortable in the kitchen, whether they were experienced cooks or beginners. He was patient, approachable, and attentive, ensuring that everyone had a great time and left with new culinary knowledge. We highly recommend Chef LandiвЂ™s Southern Italy on a Plate class to anyone looking to dive into authentic Italian cuisine. We had a great time. His house fits up to 6 people for a class but there are other options for bigger groups. Thanks Chef!

We liked the atmosphere but the space was too small to work. The steak was overcooked, and the potatoes were undercooked. It was hard to follow the instructions. Then when we were ready to eat we had to stand. It was disappointing for the amount of money we paid.
