During this live and interactive online mixology class with Mixologist Brett, you will learn how to concoct four cocktails inspired by the movie Mean Girls. You'll begin by learning how to craft a pink-tini cocktail that's perfect for any Wednesday as well as a traditional rum punch. Mixologist Brett will also teach you how to create two cocktails for the holiday season: A Glen Coco candy cane martini and a Jingle Bell Rock-arita.

Mixologist Brett has more than 15 years of experience creating cocktail menus and curating a selection of high-end national and regional spirits for bars and restaurants in Michigan. He recently began hosting a “Mixology 101†class at a boutique hotel and discovered his passion for teaching others the art and science of mixology. Now, Mixologist Brett hosts a variety of beginner and advanced mixology classes both virtually and in-person.

I have mentioned on booking we were in Portugal, the times were confirmed automatically incorrectly for Portugal. We paid and didn't get the service. Brett’s class left us with a lot to be desired. We took the romantic drink making class for a fun Valentine’s date and left feeling underwhelmed. The ingredients did not match the list that was provided and the steps were given briefly. The instructor was hard to hear and when asked about accommodating he informed them that he could not instead of moving closer to the microphone. We have taken plenty of cozy meal drink classes before and we have thoroughly enjoyed the rest. In addition to the class needing structural work, the drinks were tolerable at best.

Brett was nice but I would like to leave some constructive criticism. I’m in sales so a few tips may make his class better. First introduce yourself and maybe start with small talk with your participants. I know none of us could hear you. Everyone was on top of their computers trying to hear you. Participants left and had to charge devices hoping to hear you better. Your volume was low because you were on a head set. Read the room and try to fix it. Also you were speaking while you were blending, we definitely could not hear you at all. This was our second experience with a mixologist on line. The other class was definitely more interactive and I felt a connection. A few tweak and this class could be amazing. Maybe ask to see what participants created.

Brett seemed like a good teacher, but I found the audio was very scratchy and difficult to hear for this class. I checked with another member of the class, and they had the same issue. I brought this to the attention of Cozymeal but didn’t expect much of a response. Thankfully they took my concern seriously and worked to make it right. I have booked another class.
