In this interactive and live online cooking class with Chef Zach, you'll craft a gourmet homage to a famed Italian confection and a holiday wreath "sablГ©" cookie that will be a standout on your holiday dessert trays. First, prepare a rocher butter cake as well as a dark chocolate rocher glaze with crushed nuts. Then, create a European-style chocolate sablГ© dough that Chef Zach will show you how to pipe and decorate into a festive wreath shape.

Chef Zach was oustanding! He is very knowledgeable and we loved the way he conducted this workshop. He is well prepared, shared his expertise in a very friendly, non-intimidating way. He didn't just give us instructions to make it, he was considerate to also shared what could go wrong and how to recover when possible. Face it - professionals make it look easy until you have to do it on your own and nothing was what you remembered from class. Things which I thought would have been OK to substitute, so glad he went over how changing even the stirring tool could have ended in disaster. Appreciated chef Zach inviting us into his home which felt and look absolutely cozy yet elegant.

We took the Chocolate Ganache Workshop with Chef Zach. He is very knowledgeable and informative about all types of chocolate. The recipes were very delicious. He provided the recipes in advance with excellent notes and great recommendations for getting the best chocolate too. It was fun to do a private class where we could ask questions. Thank you Chef Zach! I would highly recommend!

This was a great class, Chef Zach explained things very clearly and it was easy to follow along. He answered my questions and was patient with our group of inexperienced cooks. I really enjoyed this class.

Chef Zach was great. He was so nice and helpful, and we could tell that he is very knowledgeable and an excellent pastry chef. It would just be helpful for us beginners to be taken through the recipes a little more exactly step-by-step. All of his professional insight was very interesting and good to know, but it was hard to pay attention to all of that while trying to read through and follow the recipes. Thank you, Chef Zach!

Chef Zach was very patient and explained the process of making ganache in a way that was easily understood and helped with my success in following the recipe. He was also able to give me some guidance for using one of the recipes that I did not make correctly, allowing me to still use the ganache but in a different manner. I really enjoyed his class and would love to take another class in the future.

A really good, interactive session. The recipes beforehand and doing the prep in advance made a huge difference. Chef Zach dealt really with a (very) remote audience.

We had such a great class! If you do it, be prepared, have the ingredients ready and impress yourself at how much you can create in a short time. Our chocolate choices didn't quite match the recipes. For one we needed extra cream to fix the ganache. For the caramel ganache, it turned out our chocolate was tasted too fruity. Next time I'd try the brand recommended by Chef Zach. Highly recommend this!

We had a lovely time. Our family scheduled a private class with Chef Zach to simply have some "social distance family time". What a great way to spend time together. Chef Zach was very relaxed and didn't rush us through the class. We really learned a lot about the industry, techniques, and ingredients. What a fun thing to do! Thanks Chef!!

Chef Zach was so delightful. His knowledge of chocolate and desserts made me feel like I was in a Parisian restaurant. I also enjoyed his teaching style and all of his insight into french desserts. He had wonderful stories about specific ingredients and what to pair with his delicious desserts.

I could never imagine a more perfect experience with my 8 year old niece who loves to bake!!! As a teacher myself I was INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED with Zach’s ability to teach, demonstrate and allow my niece to perform all the steps to make an absolutely fabulous Chocolate dessert!! I even learned A LOT of AH-HA baking tips !!! The entire experience was FANTASTIC!! Zach is a must for anyone seeing a personal DELICIOUS ENJOYABLE baking memory!!

We did a couples class and had such a great time. Zach is extremely knowledgable, well organized, and an amazing instructor. We did not have much baking experience so this was the perfect class for us. We learned useful techniques and facts about baking AND chocolate. We will definitely do another class in the future!!

Zach's class was awesome! I surprised my wife with an anniversary chocolate couples class and I'm glad I chose him. He made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Very informative and happy to answer the questions we had and the entire process was just the right amount of time. Oh, and the dessert was absolutely amazing!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CLASS!!!!!! We took a couples class last night and it turned out amazing! I would definitely recommend this class and give it 100 stars if I could!! He knows his chocolate! Don't hesitate to take this class, it's worth every dollar! I'll be back to take more classes.
