Wendy’s Launches SpongeBob Krabby Patty

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of "SpongeBob SquarePants," the legendary Krabby Patty is being brought to life thanks to the limited-edition SpongeBob Krabby Patty at Wendy’s. The “Krabby Patty Kollab” starts October 8, 2024, allowing fans to finally taste what’s been teasing them on TV for years.

Is Wendy’s Releasing a Krabby Patty? 

Yes! The Spongebob Squarepants Krabby Patty meal is being launched by Wendy’s as part of the show’s 25th anniversary celebrations. There are two limited-time items on the menu as part of this collaboration that both play on popular elements from the show. 

First, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty blends Wendy’s classic vanilla Frosty with a swirl of pineapple mango purée for a sweet tropical treat. Then, there’s the star of the show — the Wendy’s Krabby Patty Burger. Wendy's take on the iconic burger includes a quarter-pound of beef topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and a secret Krabby Kollab sauce, all served on a toasted bun.

Lindsay Radkoski, Wendy's U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, shared her excitement noting: "...it makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages!"

When Is the Wendy’s Krabby Patty Meal Release Date?

The Wendy’s Krabby Patty meal will be available across the U.S., Canada and Guam starting October 8, 2024. You can purchase the SpongeBob Krabby Patty at Wendy’s locations and via the Wendy’s app. If you’re in Los Angeles, you can get an exclusive sneak peek on October 7 and 8 via a fun, immersive drive-through experience at Panorama City.
