I took this class a second time because it was the only one offered when my sister-in-law was visiting and she REALLY wanted to do a class. I have to say -- it was still super enjoyable even though we had already been in it!!! Professor Baker is just amazing. A passionate, intelligent, well-spoken, kind, flavor genius. We have taken all but 2 classes from him and Every. Single. Class. Is. Amazing. Even when I don't like the spirit, he balances the drinks out so brilliantly -- it's just so FN delish. My all time favorite class is the Tequila one, but you won't be disappointed in any of Anthony's classes.

Look no further. This is the Mixologist. We have been taking classes from Prof. Baker since COVID started. Our bar has expanded, our spirit palettes have been awakened......minds have been blown by the drinks we have served thanks to Anthony. My husband and I started taking the classes to use up some rum we had around for a while. (we are whiskey on the rocks drinkers) Little did we know that we would end up loving mixing up cocktails and experimenting with flavors. If you take enough of his classes, you'll not only have a great time, but you'll truly enjoy a beautifully crafted cocktail in the comfort of your home. .....no uber/lyft needed. I have been plenty drunk from his classes since I'm a lightweight (3 drinks in an hour is ....WOO!). Anyway -- take the class. You'll love it even if you don't like the featured spirit.....why? .....he's just that awesome.

The Vacation Cocktails class by Mixologist Anthony was such a great experience! I truly felt like I transported to a Caribbean island for an hour. Anthony is knowledgeable, fun, and a great instructor. I enjoyed that he made the class interactive but didnâ€™t force conversation among the participants. We have taken enough cooking classes and mixology classes from cozy meal to be able to say there is something uniquely awesome about Professor Baker...itâ€™s a multitude of factors I suppose......his teaching style, laid back demeanor, intelligence, wit, and mixology mad skills. If a class doesnâ€™t appeal to you because you donâ€™t like the featured liquor - I would argue that THOSE are the classes you should take from him. Iâ€™m a whiskey or tequila on the rocks drinker that has been converted by professor Baker to expand my options â€” enjoy spirits...flavors....balance. I used to bartend but never experienced the joy of crafting a beautiful drink until his classes. Even as bars begin to open up - we will still sign up for any new classes he posts. Also, heâ€™s such a nice guy.

I was tasked with finding a way for a group of us parents to get together for a "Parents Night In" event. It's been such a challenging year and normally we'd be getting together several times throughout the school year. However this was our first ever virtual event so I was a little unsure how it would go over (especially when most of us already feel so "zoomed out"). Honestly, I think we were all pleasantly surprised to find how enjoyable the class was. Definitely the best Zoom ever! Anthony is an INCREDIBLE host and knew exactly how to get us all relaxed and having fun within the first few minutes. We all learned a lot and the cocktails were amazing. (The pina caipirinha is my new go to for happy hour! The hour and a half flew by and it was a complete success. Everyone had so much fun and we all can't wait to do another session with Professor Baker.

We took the gin class this past weekend and had a great time. Whether you're a gin lover or not, try it. Lately, my husband and I have been drinking different types of whiskey or tequila on the rocks. We are taking Professor Baker's classes to learn about expanding our options and learning the art of making beautiful drinks at home. Even as people get vaccinated and start to venture out, I think we'll continue to take his classes as there is something so rewarding about crafting such an awesome beverage and enjoying it in the comfort of your home....BONUS: It costs less than a sitter, the tab, and a taxi ride to get home safely. Freakin' Genius Mixologist and a fantastic teacher. Full disclosure: I took this class to use up my rum and not because I like mixed drinks. I drink whiskey on the rocks. Professor Baker at one point asked "Why did you sign up for this?" Well, I am grateful for that old bottle of rum I've had because it brought me to Professor Baker. I have NEVER liked a pina colada or mojito. His recipes are well balanced and DELICIOUS. I actually only made 1 drink for 2 of us on drink #1 because I was sure I wouldn't like it. I was wrong. I was SO wrong that we signed up for 2 more of his classes and will continue to learn about spirits from him to broaden our options and what we offer to guests. He is also....hands down.....the best virtual teacher we've had so far. You can tell he's been doing this a while.

From Lauren on the customer service / sales team, to the ease of registering guests, to Tony â€œProfessorâ€ Baker leading the class, everything was perfect! Tony was accommodating in providing non-alcoholic options in advance to include with the ingredient lists, and he was personable, patient, knowledgeable and funny during the class. Recipes were easy to follow and will be easy to replicate in our own. Additionally, because it was a private class, there was plenty of time and opportunity to visit with other guests. The ABSOLUTE BEST!! Let me start off this review by saying anything made with bourbon was not my drink of choice but after this class I have two new favorite drinks that include bourbon. My husband booked this class as a surprise for date night and asked me to be open-minded and Iâ€™m so glad he did. â€œProfessor Bakerâ€ was amazing, his personality was very entertaining and he was very knowledgeable about the history of bourbon and the drinks we made. This class was great! Not only did I learn a few new drink recipes, but I learned the science behind different cocktails so that I can make my own recipes. And the history so I can make good conversation. The mixologist also taught me how to make non-alcoholic versions of every drink so I can host all of my friends no matter their preference. Professor Baker deserves 10-stars. He taught me about cocktails when I took a Mixology Class with him while he was at the New York European Bartender School. I was in the process of opening my own bar in Ohio, and even after the course was over, Mr. Baker stayed in contact with me to help me create my cocktail menu. He's awesome. Anthony (or Professor Baker) taught me how to make cocktails when I saw him at Liquor Lab. The man is a wealth of knowledge, and is so passionate about his work...so he gets super-animated at times. He's so fun to watch.

I worked with Anthony Baker at Mathew's Food & Drink. I was a bartender, and he was the Head Bartender, so whenever I needed training on new cocktails or procedures, he was the guy to go to. Let me tell you, he is extraordinarily patient, and he really wants you to learn in the best way possible. So he makes his trainings fun. He's absolutely perfect for online mixology classes because there's never a dull moment with him.

Anthony was the best teacher I could have asked for for my first mixology/bartending course, thanks to his knowledge, patience, and passion I was able to really get to the core of what the art of mixing drinks is supposed to be and to this day I'm still applying his principles to create great cocktails whether behind a bar at work or with friends. I attended a class at Liquor Lab in Nashville, TN where Anthony was our mixologist host for the class. He kept the energy in the room fun and exciting the whole night! He took the time to interact with every party that was there and made connections. He was very friendly and helpful. I would instantly take another class with him if I had the opportunity to!

Baker is a truly a master mixologist. His videos are easy to watch, often with a good dose of humor, and there is always a fun lesson and delicious cocktail to learn about. You can tell he is passionate about his craft and the ingredients he is using - he will help you take a well balanced, complex drink and break it down in simple steps to recreate for yourself.
