One whole lime (for garnishing)
JalapeГ±o (two thin slices)
Agave nectar (2 oz)
Fresh lime juice (3 oz)
Grapefruit Juice (2 oz)
Reposado or Gold Tequila (8 oz)
Club Soda (4 oz)
Bitters
Bucket of ice
Table salt, one pinch
Mezcal (optional, 1oz)
Sage leaves (optional)
Large ice cube (optional)

Kitchen Equipment


Jigger or shot glass
Cocktail shaker or jar with lid
Muddler or large wooden spoon
Three drinking glasses


Prep Work Details

Please prep fresh lime juice beforehand. This will save you a lot of time during the class. Squeeze fresh grapefruit juice, if possible. Honey is not a good substitute for agave nectar. Simple syrup would be a better substitute. Hella Mexican Chocolate Bitters are perfect for this class!

Professor Baker is the best! He is so entertaining and informative. We have done the gin class and now the tequila class. The tequila recipes were fantastic. We can't wait for our next class. :)
