Cooking Class - Authentic Northern Italian Cooking

Journey to Bologna and Milan and explore the exceptional and familiar fares of the region.
In this hands-on class, Chef Francesca will take you on a culinary tour of Northern Italy as you learn how to prepare the most popular and authentic regional delicacies.
You will learn how to make Bologna-style lasagna completely from scratch including the pasta sheets, bolognese and béchamel sauces. You will also learn how to make one of Milan's most sophisticated dishes: risotto. Chef Francesca will teach you the technique to create either a vegetarian Milanese-style risotto or a Piedmont-style risotto with red wine and Italian sausage.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Born and raised in Sardinia, Italy, Chef Francesca discovered her passion at a young age. She loves to cook traditional Sardinian and Italian food while using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients when handcrafting classics, like homemade pasta, sauces and desserts.
