WHAT YOU’LL DO

Cook a full summer feast from cedar plank salmon to cherry sundae.
If you love cooking with the best of the season, this interactive cooking class in Houston is made for you. With Chef Jaken or a resident chef guiding you through each step, you'll prepare cedar plank salmon with blackberry sauce, assemble a golden beet and haricot vert salad and bake soft focaccia with sweet onions and herbs. You'll wrap up the experience with a dark cherry hazelnut sundae while picking up practical techniques for flavor pairing and baking. This cooking class in Houston is ideal for anyone looking to build confidence with seasonal dishes.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

My husband and I enjoyed the evening. The chef made it a fun experience as he was upbeat and friendly. The food was delicious yet I am wondering why the dessert didn’t look like the one pictured on the web page.

Chef Lonnie was fun and informative! It was a lot of fun to get hands-on with the sushi to make veggie hand rolls, cucumber rolls, and tuna rolls. I think a little more structure to get the class's attention would have been helpful, since there was a lot of talking and missed attention at times, requiring Chef to shout over the room. But all in all, a great experience!
