What You'll Do

Learn beginner-friendly dumpling skills through fun, hands-on techniques.

Learn the basics of dumpling making in this hands-on cooking class in NYC. Practice shaping and cooking three classic styles: steamed dumplings, boiled wontons for soup and pan-fried gyoza. You’ll also prepare simple dipping sauces to pair with each type. Chef Emily or a resident chef will guide you through folding, sealing and cooking techniques. This cooking class in NYC is perfect for anyone who wants practical, beginner-friendly dumpling skills.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
