This hands-on cooking class teaches you the secret upgrade to the classic apple pie. Master crafting a flaky pie crust from scratch, creating a luscious apple filling with salted caramel and weaving an impressive lattice top. After the class, you will leave with your pie assembled in a Sur La Table 9.5" Pie Dish ($39.95 value), ready to bake or save for a later date.
Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
For public cooking classes, menu changes cannot be made. For private events, most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request.

Chef Marion was excellent. The class was a lot of fun. The ovens weren't big enough or didn't cook evenly enough. Despite Chef Marion rotating the pies a lot, the crusts got burned on one side. Such a shame.

Our chef was bubbly and fun but I was disappointed that our chicken breast cutlet had been butchered. Instead of receiving 2 full cutlets we had one full and one that had been butchered into 4 pieces of varying sizes. The chef apologized, which I appreciate, but I world expect better quality for the class. It did make it a bit challenging to cook within the time allotted considering that 4 people were using a single burner/pan and we had twice the amount of pieces to brown. The texture of the chicken was also off. It was very chewy, hard to describe, but not palatable. Maybe it didn’t get tenderized enough? I didn’t want to make a big deal in front of the other guests so I didn’t say anything to the chef and The piece that wasn’t butchered had a normal texture. Sauce was delicious and I can’t believe how easy it is to make pasta from scratch! I will be attempting to make at home.

This meal, and experience, far exceeded our expectations. The instructions were clear, humorous, and nobody burnt themselves. I call that a win. If you want a place for a great date night, double date, intimate business meeting, or small team building exercise this is a great idea.

Only giving 4 stars because it is not what I expected when paying this much for the class to share the dish 4 ways. Was under the impression that each couple would have their own dish to share rather than one dish split 4 ways for the price paid. Other than that the experience was really nice, chef and assistants were awesome and food was delicious

Chef Scott was funny and personable. He had a candle for our birthday cake and made our birthday guy, and another couple feel very special on their 2nd wedding anniversary! Great job. We are so very grateful for the experience.

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.
