What You’ll Do

A selection of small bites with big Spanish flavor is the order of the day!

Bring a traditional tapas meal to your home table in Chef Charles' in-person cooking class. You'll discover the secrets to preparing dishes designed to be sampled, each with its own delicious personality!

Start your lesson with juicy pork chorizo meatballs in a smoky tomato sauce. Then, pan-fry shrimp in dry sherry for a batch of gambas al ajillo, made special with the zing of fresh garlic. Next, prepare piquillo peppers and manchego cheese to enjoy with rustic grilled bread. For dessert, whip up miniature flans with all the flavor of their full-sized counterparts.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Charles is a master in the culinary arts and a genuine human being. The menu was heavenly and thoughtful. His instruction and storytelling for food added such a warm experience to our meal. We eagerly want to do this again! Thank you Charles for an unforgettable evening.

We had a great time and can’t wait to book with Chef Charles again. Charles’s approach was very informative. We learned a lot about how to sear meat and cook on high heat; for example holding the pan at an angle away from you as you place the meat. Chef Charles made everything so easy and the food was the best. He is also a very interesting person and loved his stories as a chef. Can’t wait to work together again!
