What You’ll Do

Learn the art of creating the ultimate traditional French bouillabaisse with Chef James.

If there is one dish that represents the South of France it’s bouillabaisse, and in this class you will learn the method behind making it yourself. Chef James has years of experience and is ready to share his trade secrets with you.

Your experience will begin with an antipasti plate followed by a fresh, seasonal salad. The main course of French bouillabaisse will be artfully prepared with seafood stock, saffron, classic San Marzano tomatoes and an abundance of fresh seafood and shellfish. Dessert is la quesada, a dish that Chef James describes as “cheesecake meets flan,” topped with local berries.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was a very unique and different experience, especially as part of our bachelorette party weekend. Chef James has a beautiful home and I loved how we were able to see and witness every step of the cooking process. The ingredients he bought were gorgeous and fresh, the Bouillabaisse was unbelievable and I am still drooling over the homemade garlic aoli he made. Our entire party had a blast and I would highly recommend to anyone to take a class, especially for a large group, because you will be able to interactive with the chef as well as your party versus going to a restaurant.

Had such a great time! Wonderful hospitality and a delicious meal. Felt like an intimate dinner party more than a cooking class. Beautifully done and the meal was insanely delicious. Will be excited to try making ourselves!

Chef James was amazing! So nice and very educated. The food was excellent! I loved everything we made and the way it was presented from start to finish was great!
