Join Chef James as he teaches you his masterful methods to creating the perfect risotto.

Learn how to handcraft one of Italy’s most famous dishes: classic risotto. Chef James is a master of Italian cooking with years of experience that he’s ready to pass on to you for use in your own kitchen.

A selection of antipasti will kick off the class followed by a salad of seasonal greens. For the main event, enjoy risotto made with Carnaroli rice scented with saffron and tossed with fresh Gulf prawns and seasonal vegetables. Your final course is la quesada, a dish similar to cheesecake and flan, paired with local berries.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I booked this experience with Chef James as a Christmas present from our grandma to her granddaughter. She's 11 and is interested in being chef. Chef James was wonderfully inviting and friendly from the moment we all stepped into his home, and enjoyed some cheese, meats, and anchovy stuffed olives. We then helped to cook the risotto, and enjoyed the fruits of our work :) The risotto was amazing, cooked perfectly and so flavorful! We also loved the dolce cake for dessert - it was a wonderful end to the evening. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

My team and I spent a terrific afternoon with Chef James! He couldn't have been more warm and friendly, and knowledgeable. It was like being in a friend's home, with the added benefit of having a top flight chef guiding you to make a delicious meal. Everything about the experience was first class, including the high quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this experience!
