Cooking class with Joaselyn was such a fantastic experience! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a special date night idea.

We had such an incredible experience learning from Joaselyn. With her clear, organized instruction every bite came out perfectly. She is so sweet and we enjoyed chatting with her about her recent travels and meeting her adorable dog, Petra. We will be recommending Joaselyn to friends and family, especially those visiting from out of town for a unique New York experience!

I surprised my best friend with this experience, and what an AMAZING experience it was... all thanks to Joaselyn! The night was filled with great food and learning some new cooking techniques, which is basically to be expected with a private cooking class. What wasn't expected was Joaselyn! She made the night so fun, filled with laughter, a touch of banter and a dash of wit, which made for a perfect night. Thank you Joaselyn!

Joaselyn was awesome! My boyfriend and I had such a fun time cooking and playing with her super cute dog. She took the time and taught us how to do Everything. This was necessary because we were very much beginnners. The menu was perfect and it was such a great date night. Thank you, Joaselyn!!

This was my first time using Cozymeal and I am so glad we picked Joaselyn! We had a terrific dinner at her beautiful apartment. She was very prepared, organized, and made it a lot of fun. We made a three course italian meal and definitely learned some new tactics we want to try at home (like how to make croutons and pasta!) Overall it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend her to everyone! Super fun unique NYC night out that we won't forget!

Chef Joaselyn’s Tapas class was incredible! The apartment was beautiful and clean, and the rooftop views while grilling were breathtaking. The class was very easy to follow and was easily scaled to beginners (Joaselyn added some basic knive-handling skills instruction). The dishes tasted absolutely delicious and Chef Joaselyn was personable and great company throughout. Will definitely be taking another class with one of her other menus, though would be just as happy repeating this Tapas class!

Joaselyn was absolutely spectacular! She made us feel welcomed and relaxed. She knew exactly what she was doing and was a phenomenal teacher. The ingredients she brought were also high quality. I definitely recommend!

I set up a booking with Joaselyn for my girlfriend and I on her birthday and WOW we were both so impressed and thrilled by the experience. Joaselyn is not just an excellent cook, but a great teacher and really fun person to talk to. Her space was beautiful with excellent views of the city and Joaselyn made us feel at home right away. The menu was ambitious without being overwhelming, and we got started immediately - it was so wonderful to be able to participate and learn how to create a beautiful and delicious meal from scratch! We're excited to make try these dishes at home. Cannot recommend enough. 11/10, would book again.

My wife and I had a great time at the "Tantalizing Tapas” cooking class organized by Cozymeal. Our chef, Joaselyn, made our evening’s experience absolutely fun and enjoyable. We learned that we could make an array of delicious tapas by simply selecting some easy-to-get ingredients and preparing them the right way. Our cooking environment was pleasant and Joaselyn was friendly, patient and great to work with. We followed her step-by-step instructions and totally immersed ourselves in preparing and cooking five different tapas. A must-mentioned is Joaselyn’s sauces! They are easy to make and tasted heavenly. The best part of these sauces is that you can apply them to a wide variety of food, may it be vegetables, meats or bread, and they are all yummy! The last part of the class was the easiest one --- my wife and I had a sit-down tapas dinner after our class and thoroughly enjoyed our delightful creations. We will get our recipes for what we learned that evening, and will definitely do this again to learn some more interesting dishes from Joaselyn.

I hired Joaselyn as a surprise for my wife for our anniversary. She had mentioned several times that she wanted to take a cooking class so I thought this was a great alternative. Joaselyn was wonderful! On time, so friendly and down to earth, incredibly organized and thorough in waking us through each dish. We had a great time, made 5 dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. There was also plenty of leftovers which we ate the following night. Would highly recommend her for any occasion!

Our experience with Joaselyn exceeded my expectations. The Spanish tapas menu was delicious! The meal appeared intricate, to a light cooker like myself, but our chef’s clear guidance allowed us to seamlessly execute each dish. I was thoroughly impressed with our results and equally taken with Joaselyn, a gracious and warm host. We’d love to plan another Cozymeal with Joaeselyn!

Chef Joaselyn will teach you the joys of fresh, simple cuisine. She gives context to the food being made by giving background on the ingredients and how they should be prepared. Each recipe was easy to follow, and every dish tasted like I had been transported to the beach.
