We absolutely loved cooking with Chef Jalen! He was so kind and such an excellent cook. We told him ahead of time that some of us were gluten free and he went above and beyond to accommodate us! I honestly was not expecting for him to adapt every aspect of the meal, but he did and I was able to eat it all! It meant so much to me. We had great conversation and made delicious food. It was so fun! Would highly recommend taking a cooking class from Chef Jalen in the future.

I give it this rating because they didn't tell me they were going to use alcohol for the dish. I don't drink but I spent so much money so I felt compelled to because of it. Honestly I wish this was optional not something that was apart of the main dish I thought that would be better. Overall I enjoyed but I'm thinking of trying another sushi class else where so I can get a better experience since this one was okay. My advice if anything very if they will add and alcoholic substances. Though they don't really cater to allergies because I asked and they said no. The chef said she was on Benadryl because of her allergies to seafood but overall I enjoyed the learning just wish I didn't have to spend so much on a class like this.
