Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a medium pot over medium heat, add the butter, cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. Stir occasionally until everything has melted together.
Turn the heat to medium-low and add the cheddar, mozzarella, garlic, mustard, basil, salt and pepper. Stir well until the cheese has melted.
In a casserole dish, evenly spread out the broccoli florets. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and stir to combine, ensuring all of the broccoli florets are well-coated.
Sprinkle a handful of grated mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F until the top of the casserole is bubbly and slightly browned.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
