Gather, wash and prep all ingredients.
Cut banana and dragon fruit into small slices and cubes. Freeze it for about 2 hours (or up til overnight) to make the smoothie more creamy. If you don't have enough time to freeze the fruit, add some ice while blending to achieve a creamy consistency.
Add the frozen bananas and dragon fruit to the blender with frozen berries, yogurt and almonds.
Blend until the consistency is creamy and think, about 2 minutes.
Pour into glasses and garnish the smoothie with fruit or fresh mint, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes:
- Turn the smoothie mix into refreshing summer popsicles by freezing them into popsicle molds.
- If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add a sweetener of choice (honey or agave) or blend in dates.
