Booked the class Learn to Make Sushi by Hand with Chef Jenny in Raleigh
I thought it was a fun experience to make sushi for the first time in my life and being able to meet new people and have a great date with my husband
Booked the class Roll Your Own Sushi with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
The long and short is this class fell extremely short of expectations. The chef had never prepared Asian cuisine before, he had no idea what he was doing and he didn’t show or explain what he was doing so we spent most of the class asking what we were supposed to be doing. The helpers also provided little to no support and typically provided conflicting guidance. Please see the review posted via the QR code for details
Booked the class Mastering Global Street Food with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
Very well run class, it was fun and I liked how chef threw in all kind of cooking tips while we were cooking. Thank you for all you and your staff did to make it happen. I would suggest that you add more time to the class or remove one of the dishes from the menu, it was too much too rushed. Thank you for the recipes too. I signed us up for another class this spring ..
Booked the class Flavorful Japanese Feast - Date Night with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
We made salmon, vegetable tempura, and fried rice and it was amazing! My knife work is already getting better! Onions stand no chance now.

Sushi. My favorite moment was meeting new people. Very fun class.
Booked the class Succulent Sushi Making with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
Sushi. Chef was excellent. Ingredients were fresh. The one down fall is we did not receive a list of the Ingredients upon leaving. This would have been helpful as ŵe took the class to learn how to make at home
Booked the class Restaurant-Style Ramen with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
My family and I cooked ramen. It was an amazing experience and allowed us to all bond. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to make this again for our family and friends.
Booked the class Restaurant-Style Ramen with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
My wife and I attended the Restaurant-style Ramen class hoping to take our home-made ramen to the next level. Everything we needed was laid out and pre-measured and the Chef instructed and assisted with patience and good humor. Our best take-away from the class was making the noodle dough and then rolling it out and slicing it with the Kitchenaid stand-mixer. We will now make our own (delicious) noodles with confidence. Pickling our mushrooms (which were added later to the ramen) was another favorite experience. Because the dashi, pork-belly, and broth was pre-prepared we will use the recipes that were emailed after the class to make these ingredients at home. Of course we ate our Ramen at the end of class (along with Yuzu mint soda!) and gave ourselves (and Cozymeal) an A+. Highly recommended!
Booked the class Japanese-Filipino Cooking 101 with Chef Mickey in Raleigh (Southeast Raleigh)
Chef Mickey did an amazing job. We had a great experience, great food, and great recipes to try for ourselves. I highly recommend.

I really liked the salad. There was too much tempura and not enough salmon and fried rice. All of the supplies was clearly laid out. I didn't like the 15 minute shopping break in the middle.
Booked the class Restaurant Sushi Roll Romance - Date Night with Chef Megan in Raleigh (North Hills)
My husband and I wanted to do a cooking class for our 10th anniversary. We love sushi. We took a pasta making class together in Italy and I took a baking class back in NY. We were hoping for the same experience but it didn’t even come close. The “Chef†was at another table with our backs to him, he was confused about what we were making, he left us to try and figure it out on our own and only as a last option did he come over to help. He seemed more interested in the sales pitch to take more classes and shop than teaching us how to make sushi. Our class only had 4 people because 2 people didn’t show up, so you would think we would have gotten more one on one teaching. Wrong. He was more concerned about the class coming in after us. We ran out of tuna but he had all the tuna at his station that he made plus what the 2 people that didn’t show up would have used but he didn’t want to let us use any of it saying this is for the next class… He never showed us how to make the traditional sushi roll with the rice on the outside he just talked about it. We never received the email that had the recipes and directions either. When we booked this they talked about a chef with over 20 years experience. We got a kid who “has worked in restaurants and went to culinary school and has been teaching classes for a year.â€
