My husband and I did the lobster ravioli class with Chef Megan. It was so fun but still professional. We will definitely doing a class again soon. I recommend this for date night for anyone.
Booked the class Craft Perfect Dumplings From Scratch with Chef Jenny in Raleigh
Jenny made the experience fun and instructive! She made sure to stop by and help each person so no one felt left out/ignored. Huge bonus she cooked them all up for us and while it takes time to do so they were worth the wait and we even had plenty left to take a few home. Soooo tasty!!!
Booked the class Everyday Italian - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
Knowledgeable. Funny. Friendly. All good
Booked the class Southeast Asian Tour - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
This was my first experience at a cooking class. Our chef was very friendly and informative. I was not pleased that we felt rushed towards the end of the evening. We were also told that we couldn’t take any of the leftover food (there was a lot) home with us and that usually the staff share it.
Booked the class Festive Thai Dinner - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
Pad Thai
Booked the class Handmade Tortillas and Tacos with Chef Lucas in Raleigh
The plan for the class when my husband and I took it this past Sunday was carne asada tacos with homemade tortillas and pico - explanations were thorough but still easy to follow. It made me change my mind about having fresh pico in the fridge because it was so tasty!
Booked the class Surf & Turf Class - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
Food was amazing. Shrimp was the best. Staff were very helpful. Intro too long. Rushed at the end.

We cooked handmade tortillas and homemade salsa! We had lots of fun! The class was small which was nice. Lucas, our Chef was giving us great feedback on things we did well or needed help with.

Booked the class Comforting Fall Favorites - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
Very fun experience. Seemed a little bit rushed trying to get it all done before 9pm when event was over. Worthwhile for sure though! Trying to get the recipe so we can recreate at home.

The class was great, the chef and helpers did a great job. Everything was so organized and the food was excellent.
Booked the class Southeast Asian Tour - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
I learned a lot and the experience was fun (plus the food was yummy)! However, they were running late setting up which resulted in a rushed experience. Especially at the end it felt like they were really rushing us and I didn’t get to eat as much as I would have liked. Then I wasn’t allowed to take any home even though there was so much left!
Booked the class Pasta 101 with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
Great class! Well organized! Food was exceptionally good! Looking forward to getting the recipes! Bob
Booked the class Flavorful Japanese Feast - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
I really liked the salad. There was too much tempura and not enough salmon and fried rice. All of the supplies was clearly laid out. I didn't like the 15 minute shopping break in the middle.
Booked the class Handmade Tortillas and Tacos with Chef Lucas in Raleigh
This class has a lot of potential, unfortunately the setting wasn't conducive to teaching or learning with the number of students in the class (25). We learned how to mix Masa with water/oil, form it into balls, and only some of the class got to make tortillas before the electrical circuits were tripped and both of the hot plates stopped working (yes, 25 people, cooking 6 tortillas each, 1min. Per side and 2 hot plate / skillets to accomplish the whole exercise). We had hoped for knife skills training (as advertised) and some tips or techniques for protein processing and cooking, aside from being shown how to quarter a tomato, no knife skills were introduced. The recipe was only available via. QR code, the meat was prepared and marinated before hand, and cooked by his sous-chef while we learned to mix Masa. The pico felt like it was enough produce for 12 people to make Pico, that was stretched into 25, we were encouraged to try our pico with some supplied tortilla chips, but if you ate any of your pico, you would have had to eat a plain taco (tortilla and beef only). Ultimately we were fortunate enough to have made a few tortillas before the grid went down, and we saved enough pico to get a few "real tacos" out of it all, but we ran past the 2 hours to make that happen, it seemed like half the class just left abruptly at 2 hours, while others added the beef to their pico bowl and ate it like a salad bowl for lack of having cooked tortillas. Fewer people, staggered application of lessons (so there isn't a line of 25 people waiting for a cup of water), and training on more than JUST making tortillas would have helped make the class more of a learning experience and less of lesson in patience.
Booked the class Restaurant Sushi Roll Romance - Date Night with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
My husband and I wanted to do a cooking class for our 10th anniversary. We love sushi. We took a pasta making class together in Italy and I took a baking class back in NY. We were hoping for the same experience but it didn’t even come close. The “Chef†was at another table with our backs to him, he was confused about what we were making, he left us to try and figure it out on our own and only as a last option did he come over to help. He seemed more interested in the sales pitch to take more classes and shop than teaching us how to make sushi. Our class only had 4 people because 2 people didn’t show up, so you would think we would have gotten more one on one teaching. Wrong. He was more concerned about the class coming in after us. We ran out of tuna but he had all the tuna at his station that he made plus what the 2 people that didn’t show up would have used but he didn’t want to let us use any of it saying this is for the next class… He never showed us how to make the traditional sushi roll with the rice on the outside he just talked about it. We never received the email that had the recipes and directions either. When we booked this they talked about a chef with over 20 years experience. We got a kid who “has worked in restaurants and went to culinary school and has been teaching classes for a year.â€
Booked the class Pasta 101 with Chef Meribeth in Raleigh (North Hills)
We enjoyed our experience but we're disappointed about some things. We felt very rushed at the end and it had not even been 2 hrs. We understood it could be up to 2 and a half hours. We also had a lot of food left because we were rushed and asked if we could take our food to go. We were told no. The nicest restaurants in the world let you take your food. We were also told it included dessert, but there was no dessert.
