With all of the prep work done by Chef Dean, we had hand made mandu (dumplings) with help, and guidance from Chef Dean, followed by bulgogi beef gimbap, and finally mini bundt style rice cakes with red bean past, flame grilled pineapple, nuts, and an amazing ginger sorbet. And he even packed the leftovers for us to bring home, along with printed recipes of everything so we can repeat the experience. We highly recommend this and Chef Dean if you are looking for a unique experience.

We cooked a selection of Japanese dishes including multiple appetizers, a main entree, and a desert, all lactose free! Chef Dean was very pleasant and patient. He took time to make sure we were able to make each dish. A really fun evening!

The cooking class exceeded our expectations. I booked it for my husband’s bday present and Chef Dean made the whole experience very special! Also, Chef Dean is from the same island, as my husband. He truly treated us like Ohana. The food was AMAZING. He sent us home with all of the leftovers, so we were able to share what we had created with family. One of the recipes in particular we’re excited to use as our go-to for family gatherings! It’s impressive but not overly complicated to make now that we’ve made it once. Highly recommend! Our meal with Chef Dean was professional and very fun! We loved making sushi and learning how to fold gyozas. Chef Dean was great with educating us on how to do everything, including sautéing yakisoba! We would recommend this class to anybody looking for a fun and unique date night.

Fun family activity! Chef Dean was very courteous, knowledgeable and patient with our 14 year old. He shared great cooking tips. Dinner was delicious and plentiful. We took home lots of leftovers. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. If you are looking for a personal chef who will walk through making a 5 course meal for you and you partner, Chef Dean is the way to go. His meals are only for couples or small groups. This means that all the time and focus is on making sure you are having a great experience (he is getting less money than other chef out there!). Chef Dean is in Everett, so we had to reschedule because of work and fighting through traffic. But he was gracious and worked with us, and I am so glad it worked out. Great experience.
