Last Updated on November 7, 2024 | 0 Comments
The best food truck festivals are well worth visiting.

Food trucks are often a solitary affair: the Hawaiian shaved ice truck comes to a school fundraiser, a taco truck supplies the wedding reception and so on — but not so at a food truck festival.

Events like these give foodies the chance to sample the offerings of several food trucks in one place, and they’re a growing trend in the gourmet world. But with so many events like this going on, which ones rise to the top? To answer that question, we’ve narrowed that growing list down to 13 festivals you won’t want to miss.

13 Top Food Truck Festivals To Attend

1. The Texas Food Truck Showdown

At this annual, one-day-only Waco event, you’ll get to do more than just eat: you can also participate as a judge to help select one food truck as that year’s champion. The Texas Food Truck Showdown distinguishes itself from the state’s other food truck festivals by that competition setup, and after nine consecutive festivals, the event is now a renowned statewide showdown for the title of the best food truck in Texas.

The festival, held annually in April, now attracts over 25,000 people annually to sample the offerings of 40 food trucks from all over Texas. Add yourself to that list and be sure to catch the next one.
