Cooking Class - Introduction to Bread Making

What You’ll Do

Master the basics of the bread-making process from start to finish with Chef Christine.

In this hands-on class, Chef Christine will demystify the bread-making process and dispel the myth that homemade bread is too complicated for the average home baker.

You will learn the techniques of mixing, proofing, shaping, scoring, and, of course, baking your bread. Chef Christine will guide you in making one recipe by hand and another in a mixer. You will leave this class with information on different types of flour, techniques, and recipes to try at home. You'll also take home the two types of bread that you baked!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Amazing class! Christine went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend's allergies by providing alternative ingredients and bringing clean cookware. She ensured that we were equipped with the knowledge to make the breads in the future by taking the time to walk through each step. Definitely recommend!
