Learn the fundamental skills of making pasta from scratch from a true pasta-making master.
In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn the secrets to creating fresh pasta by hand as well as delicious homemade sauces with Chef Luana. Born and raised in Ascoli Piceno, among the rolling hills of the Marche region of Italy, Chef Luana knows a thing or two about seriously good pasta.
From classic spaghetti to fettuccine, Old World recipes and techniques will find new life in your hands as you work with genuine top-quality ingredients to create unparalleled flavors and fresh, authentic pastas.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Classic Spaghetti and Fettuccine Pasta
Handmade Pasta Sauces
Choose two
Ragu meat sauce or fresh tomato sauce (the chef will pre-make these sauces due to their long cooking time). The chef will demonstrate hands-on how to start the tomato sauce.
Mushroom and sausage sauce or fresh sautéed vegetable sauce (guests will prepare these sauces).
The chef will also provide an appetizer and a dessert to complete the meal. These items will be prepared by the chef before the class experience.
Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request as adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

She has enjoyed entrepreneurial success at a beachside restaurant in Italy mainly due to her mastery with the pizza oven, as she is one of Italy’s few professional female pizza makers working with a wood burning oven. Chef Luana's old world recipes and techniques find new life in her classes with quality ingredients and genuine flavors.
