Create a full Italian comfort spread with meatballs, manicotti and affogato.

This cooking class in Austin is your chance to discover a fresh take on Italian classics in a fun, hands-on setting. You'll prepare polpette al forno, then fill and roll homemade manicotti with a rich three-cheese and spinach mixture, all finished with a bright tomato sauce. Chef Karen or a resident chef will guide you through pasta assembly, sauce preparation and flavor-balancing techniques. After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef. Working as a Chef Instructor has rekindled her passion for food and sharing culinary knowledge with every guest she meets.

I’m no longer intimidated by preparing a Beef Wellington thanks to Chef Karen! Chef walked us through each step of preparation and voila! The best Beef Wellington accompanied by green beans and mashed potatoes! I’ll be making this menu for my family soon!
