WHAT YOU’LL DO

Learn how to create Chinese and Japanese favorites at home.
Dive into the flavors, techniques and culinary customs of Asian dumplings in this fun and interactive cooking class. Led by a gourmet chef, you'll learn how to prepare three iconic recipes using fresh ingredients.

Build kitchen confidence and practice essential skills like steaming, pan-frying, seasoning fillings and folding techniques. You'll prepare delicate shumai, perfectly pan-fried gyoza and crispy eggrolls. Share your creations with class members and take recipes home to impress friends and family.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Shumai Dumpling
With ground pork or chicken, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and wonton wrappers
Gyoza Dumpling
With ground pork or chicken, cabbage, scallions, sesame oil and gyoza wrappers

Booked the class Pacific Island Recipes with Chef Adam in Phoenix (Anthem)

Cooking with Chef Adam was such a fun and memorable experience! It was our first time taking a cooking class, and we loved every minute of it. We learned how to make onigiri, musubi, and poke bowls and everything tasted amazing. Chef Adam shared a few helpful kitchen tips, shared interesting stories, and made all of us feel relaxed and engaging. He was very accommodating, especially when we mentioned we don’t eat raw fish and he thoughtfully prepared shrimp for our poke bowls instead. It was the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and delicious food. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and interactive culinary experience!

Booked the class Pacific Island Recipes with Chef Adam in Phoenix (Anthem)

We had a fantastic time cooking with Chef Adam! This was our first cooking class and we made onigiri, masubi and poke bowls which speaks to my husbands Hawaiian culture and some of my favorite foods. We learned a few tricks to get the rice to be sticky and loved that these were meals we could easily recreate at home with our daughter. We will absolutely cook with Chef Adam again and bring friends.
