Booked Sushi Making For Beginners with Chef Amalia in White Plains

We made 3 different types of sushi rolls and matcha ice cream. Our chef Amalia was amazing! So patient, kind, knowledgeable, informative and pleasant! The facilities staff was great but it was extremely cold in the kitchen and wouldâ€™ve been nicer to have seating for mealtime instead of standing.

Chef Amalia was absolutely amazing! I can't say enough about her. She was not only incredibly patient but also took the time to walk us through each step of the cooking class with such warmth and clarity. It felt like cooking with a close friend who just happens to be an expert chef! Her guidance made the entire experience so enjoyable and engaging. What truly stood out were her fantastic suggestions for substituting ingredients, making it easy for us to recreate the delicious meal at home. We have since made chicken dumplings using the techniques we learned during the class. And let's talk about that lemon-flavored caramel â€“ it was a revelation! Learning how to make it was definitely a highlight of the class for me. I'm already looking forward to signing up for another class with Chef Amalia. Her expertise, passion, and delightful personality truly make her classes a must-do experience!
