WHAT YOU’LL DO
Prepare comfort food classics with a gourmet twist.
In this energetic cooking class, an esteemed chef will guide you through a lineup of bold, comforting dishes perfect for any crowd. You'll begin by baking homemade soft pretzels served with gooey, warm beer cheese, then spice things up with crispy buffalo cauliflower paired with creamy ranch made from scratch. Finally, build melt-in-your-mouth Carolina-style pulled pork sandwiches served with tangy buttermilk coleslaw tossed with lemon and fresh herbs.
Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef STEPHANIE was great, a few things that would have enhanced the experience. In my opinion, the food was too little to be satisfying for a dinner. You should’ve had either bread on the table or some form of salad to start the meal. By the time we ate the scallops, they were cold, And it just wasn’t enough to be a full dinner. I learned some great Tactics and overall was a very good experience, a few tweaks could make it even better. Thanks!

The Chef was lovely, and the pastries turned out great. I only wish everyone at the table had their dough to work with instead of sharing, and it was awkward at times. There was an individual who was baking most of the time and not allowing others to have an opportunity. I think the class is overpriced if you have to share and are not baking or cooking. That is my honest review.

Chef Liz knows how to bake rustic breads but a 2-hour class was too much too fast: TWO prepared dough to make TWO different recipe breads. *For $99 we EACH should get dough loaf that others didn't handle barehand) *Students didn't get 9page recipe before class - CozyMeal emailed it asap I asked *Liz didn't say ANY units of ANY ingredients (eg "add the TEASPOON of salt" vs "add the provided salt) *Helpers behind Liz were distracting. *Premises pleasant, clean, good transit.

This was a great team-building experience with Chef Stephanie, aka "Chefanie." She is informative and engaging. The chef allowed us to ask questions and provided plenty of opportunities to share the cooking and learning experience. My only suggestion would be to offer stools to participants since eating the meal standing up was awkward and uncomfortable after standing for 2+ hours during preparation

The polenta was amazing. It was honestly my favorite part of the meal and then it was the blood orange sorbet for me. 10s all around. The staff there was so sweet. I will definitely be back. <3

This is a review for Signature Thai Delights that was done by Chef Steven and his 2 sous chef. I enjoyed the experiences since everyone in the class had their role to prepare for the 3 dishes. No one was left out in this cooking class experience. I was surprised that finished cooking product were served on real dinnerware with forks and knives. I did get to buy something for my friends for their Christmas gifts. However, I could not use the $10 off my next cooking classs since I did not have the list of cooking classes available. I got a chance to find out what Thai cooking tasted and I could add or delete the spicy flavors to my taste.

You don’t eat what you prepared!!!!! The experience started as a 10/10, we were learning and enjoying the preparation, each couple did about 8 rolls, then we got ask to give the rolls to the chef, she separated in trays and send us out so they could prepare our dinner, BUT when we get back in, we realize she just mix all of the rolls from everyone in the room and was cutting them for us, she said “you work as a team so that’s why I’m cutting it like this, they all should be the same “ BUT THAT WASNT TRUE, it really make the whole class lose complete sense, during preparation she will said “add whatever you want, feel free to modify or accommodate to what you likeâ€, on my table we saw what other couple and us did, we didn’t put cucumbers in all our rolls, just because we didn’t want it, but when she mix everything for dinner time, every roll that come to our table included cucumbers, which is a bit disappointing since we realize those weren’t the rolls we prepared, without mention that we got soooo many of the same kind of roll and some were just pieces of rice and a piece of cucumber. Honestly it ruins the whole experience, since you get excited while cooking that you gonna get to eat what you are making, that’s the whole point, and then you didn’t get any of what you work for……. It will be better if we have the choice of cut it ourselves and decide in which order or which ones we want to eat, instead it make the class turn into a 6/10. If all is gonna get mix I think it should be inform since the beginning so you don’t do anything “different†or “special†because there is no point. They added it a drink which was really good, but for me the whole experience is about enjoy what you did!

Unfortunately, all the chicken was undercooked. Some of us ate a little before realizing it was still raw, which raised concerns about food poisoning. On a positive note, the salad was excellent, and the biscuits were just as good.

Some chicken pieces had feathers, and the chicken was still Raw after being taken out of the oven. Part of the sauketash was frozen when put into the skillet. I think the overall organization could improve.

The class and kitchen space was nice. Instructor gave good tips too. Unfortunately our chicken was undercooked and we ran out of time to cook it further. Our group didn’t get to enjoy it which was a big disappointment. We should have made the chicken first to have more time to cook. We enjoyed the biscuits and salad.

Although Chef Emily was great and engaging and the food tasted good, the structure of cooking classes was a little rushed for my taste. There is also no seating when you’re eating your meal and eating standing up isn’t the best. However I really appreciated the technical tips around basic skills like cutting that was part of the course.

Was a decently fun night but echoing some comments I've just gone back and looked at now. Did not realize this was going to be a 4 person event - we went as a couple and were surprised we were then paired with another set of people. A bit disappointing when being unexpectedly paired up with strangers to split up tasks (though our partners ended up being great people!). The class also felt rushed, where we were told to take a tray out from our area and by the time we did that the instructor was already telling the next step. Led to a bit of confusion from time to time and a lot of asking for repeat instructions. Overall wouldn't recommend for the price

We were not a fan of this cooking class, especially when so many great cooking classes exist in NYC. The instructor knew what they were doing, but didn't seem especially engaged with the class. One big issue was that this was billed as a date night cooking class, yet my partner and I were at a table with another couple and the four us cooked a meal together. In other words, the steps were split between four people, so my partner and I didn't complete the entire recipe (i.e. we cooked the rice, they fried the shrimp, we cut the vegetables, etc.). At a cooking class, I'd expect to make the entire recipe myself (or at least the entire recipe with my partner). In addition, the sanitary precautions were pretty terrible. We cut raw shrimp with a knife and cutting board and then were told to use the same knife and cutting board to cut the sashimi grade salmon. Definitely not sanitary. Finally, the amount of food we made was pretty small... we grabbed a few slices of pizza afterward. Short answer: find a different class; they exist.

I recently had the experience of booking a Date Night cooking class, and while I wanted it to be a delightful surprise for my husband's birthday, it unfortunately turned out to be quite disappointing. Here’s the breakdown: First, I have to give a shoutout to our chef, Tina! She was fantastic—definitely a 5-star personality! Charming and engaging, she really tried to make the best out of a last minute changes. Her team worked hard, and I appreciate that. However, the experience itself fell short for several reasons. I booked the class on the same day before midday, and I was excited, but the location wasn’t disclosed until a few hours before. When we arrived, our names weren’t on the list, and there was no table set up for us. To make matters worse, we were informed that they didn’t have enough ingredients because four others had booked last minute. We were short on rice, which was disappointing. Instead of the promised tuna, we were given salmon, and again, there wasn’t enough for everyone. It’s frustrating that with a little planning, they could have sourced more ingredients from a nearby Whole Foods, which was just a three-minute walk away. Instead, they decided to divide what little they had among 13 people. Overall, I’m sad to say I won’t be booking through this website again. It’s a shame when a fun idea turns into a letdown, especially when you’re hoping to create memorable moments.

Chef Tanya was kind but not engaging or enthusiastic. We left hungry- each person only gets to eat 2 slices of steak (we all agreed upon medium rare and staff cooked them to well done while the students were on a break). No student was allowed to use the blow torch, which was the top kitchen tool we were interested in learning how to use.

Had to share my meal I paid almost $200 for with two strangers. It wasn’t mentioned in any information and the two girls we had to share with also said nowhere did it say that. I also never got the recipe that was told would be emailed to me, and they tried to pitch us in a half assed sale. Throughly unimpressed will not be doing this again. This star literally goes straight to the chef. I know it’s not their fault the rules are made by the company, but fuck the company. Thank you Chef Steven for the great time, for answering my questions, and teaching me and my boyfriend some new tips and tricks.

Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. This was SUCH a HUGE disappointment. We did not have chef Emily, who has amazing reviews, instead we had Tanya. During the entree portion of the class, the only section that required cooking rather than "assembling", Tanya took our group's ingredients and prepared our full entree as an example for the class. Meaning we did not do ANY cooking during the class. This was very strange, and left us with nothing to do but watch while the other groups had fun learning to cook. In addition, the dessert course was pre-prepared for us when we got there and the sorbet was melted and unset. Overall, this was just very strange and honestly a huge let down.

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!
