My mom and I had a wonderful time with Chef Rajeswari! We made roti, paneer tiki masala, and a potato dish that ended up being so delicious! I can’t wait to make these dishes again and was grateful for the experience with my mom.

This was our first-ever cooking class and Chef Raaje made it special. My husband is vegetarian so we opted for her class on Northern Indian vegetarian fare, including a delightful, simple-to-make potato curry, and a deeply flavored paneer butter masala. Rose lassi and warm roti rounded out our meal selection.
Chef Raaje is a consummate host; she had snacks and drinks ready after our hour-long drive over. Her beautiful home and kitchen were sparkling clean. She gave us a short introduction and briefly explained the differences between northern and southern Indian food, as well as the philosophy of using the freshest spices and produce.
I appreciate that our class was very hands-on. We cooked while stood to the side and answered questions we had.
Our meal was delicious and we ate while Chef Raaje handled the dishes. (My least favorite part of cooking!) When we ended the evening, she gave us lovely parting gifts (including one for my daughter who wasn’t with us!) and printouts of our recipes — which I will absolutely be making again in the near future.
I would absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend taking a class with Chef Raaje.

What a treat to learn how to cook Indian dishes in Chef Raje’s home! Chef Raje shared some great time-saving tips that made cooking Indian food more accessible to the novice. We made tomato dal, jeera rice, and carrot poriyal and she gave plenty of tips for making the dishes vegan and/or vegetarian. She even made a special potato dish just for us! We felt very welcomed and I would definitely take another class with Chef Raje! She made our day very special!

This class would be recommended to anyone who wants a hands on, approachable introduction to Indian cooking, whether you are trying these dishes for the first time or looking to build confidence, technique, and intuition in your own kitchen.

Chef Rajeswari is excellent. We really enjoyed the class. We had a very nice time, and the food was excellent. I also learned a lot about how to use oil and butter in my cooking and I am looking forward to using some of my new knowledge when I cook. We made Paneer Butter Masala, Aloo Sabzi, Roti, and Rosewater Lassi. Everything was great.

We had an excellent time taking a cooking class with Chef Raaje. Her upbeat personality, warm energy, and fascinating stories made the entire experience unforgettable. We learned how to make curries, roti, and lassi, and the end result was a delicious meal we were truly proud of.
The best part was Chef Raaje’s wonderful explanations—not only about the food and spices, but also about the culture and traditions of India. Her kitchen was spotless, every participant had their own workspace and recipe set, and everything was well-prepared and easy to follow. She guided us step by step, ensuring we felt confident and had fun throughout.
We had a great time and highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic, enjoyable, and flavorful cooking experience!
Raje was an incredible instructor! Such a fun experience and we felt welcome in her home

I took the North Indian Favorites class and had a great experience. Chef happily accommodated a few menu modifications for my group and shared practical tips for making flavorful Indian food at home. This class is especially perfect for a group bonding experience.
Many components were pre-prepared (such as the samosa filling and cooked chicken), which kept the class moving at a good pace. It made the experience approachable, especially since most of my group had little to no cooking experience. I especially enjoyed learning how to wrap samosas.
She also added thoughtful touches, including a personalized welcome sign and a sweet surprise since we were celebrating.
One thing I wish had been communicated beforehand was that the class was shared. I had assumed my booking was private for my group of four, so I was surprised when I saw another attendee in class.
Chef was friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the booking process. Overall, I'd recommend this class to anyone interested in learning to cook North Indian dishes.

We cooked tomato daal, jeera rice, carrot poriyal and moong dal paayasam and learned to use a simple pressure cooker. All were excellent. Chef Raaje is very personable and gave good pointers to make cooking easy and for best results. She modified the recipes for my dairy allergy. We highly recommend her class.

Chef Rajeswari was truly a delight. I can not stress how easy and personable the class was. From the moment we came in, Chef greeted us with a smile and took care of taking the time of not only explaining what we would be cooking, but also a bit about her self, her background and asked about us as well. She would make sure to constantly check on how we were doing while cooking, and would give us tips on what could be done if we wanted to make the food on our own time. Genuinely, can not express how much I recommend this class, it was a privilege learning how to cook from her.

My fiance and I took this class and I must say, this was the most easy to understand simplified cooking class I’ve taken. The food turned out great, and we were give so many tips and techniques and explanation behind the science of making biriyani. Chef Rajeswari was knowledgeable, fun, and personable. I will be taking more of her classes. We are Indian and the recipes she taught us will definitely impress our parents!
