Cooking Class - South African Brunch

What You’ll Do

Take a culinary trip through South Africa with Chef Lee!

South Africa is known for its mouthwatering spices, and now you can learn how to best incorporate those spices, along with wholesome and healthy ingredients that you can find at your local market, to create a variety of unique dishes. Chef Lee will guide you through preparing an authentic South African brunch in an environment that promotes teamwork and connecting community, cuisine, and wellness.

Your experience begins with learning to prepare a zesty green herb salad that is topped off by a tangy tahini dressing. For your next course, you will create a succulent grilled lemon pepper chicken using the finest of seasonal ingredients. Your third course consists of a flavorful root vegetable omelette. Complete your culinary journey by cleansing the palate with a fresh tumeric and ginger-infused herb tea complemented by rosemary lemon and decadent chocolate coconut macaroons.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Lee created a great atmosphere where we could experiment with the cooking based on what we liked and still had a lot of fun. She also had some great tips for cooking and chopping that I will take with me. Thanks for a great event
