Start off by crafting pillowy soft pork mandu dumplings drizzled with a spicy gochujang sauce. For the main course, roll a colorful beef bulgogi with homemade kimchi and a sweet egg wrap that resembles a Japanese sushi roll but bursts with bold flavor. For dessert, prepare a tender, miniature bundt cake with a seasonal fruit sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

With all of the prep work done by Chef Dean, we had hand made mandu (dumplings) with help, and guidance from Chef Dean, followed by bulgogi beef gimbap, and finally mini bundt style rice cakes with red bean past, flame grilled pineapple, nuts, and an amazing ginger sorbet. And he even packed the leftovers for us to bring home, along with printed recipes of everything so we can repeat the experience. We highly recommend this and Chef Dean if you are looking for a unique experience.

We had the most amazing experience with Chef Dean. I have an adult son with Down’s Syndrome, who loves to cook but needs guidance. For his birthday, I reached out to Chef Dean to inquire if he would be willing to do a private cooking lesson for my son, husband and myself. I explained the situation and Chef Dean quickly responded that he would love doing the session. Chef Dean had everything prepared and was so organized. We all had a recipes. Chef Dean helped my son one-on-one. My son was overjoyed about the experience, as was my husband and myself. The food was incredible and we even got to take over leftovers home. Chef Dean is so experienced, professional and a lot of fun! We are definitely meeting up with Chef Dean again for another lesson.
