Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Summer Baking

What You’ll Do

Five days of sweet & savory baking, teaching kids fun recipes to replicate at home.

Surprise your kids with a delightful summer cooking series designed for 7-11-year-olds. During these summer cooking classes, your budding bakers will explore the world of baking, crafting both sweet and savory delights under the guidance of a skilled chef. From scrumptious cakes to savory pastries, they'll learn new skills and techniques while having fun in the kitchen. Once the 5-days are up, each chef-in-training will take home a printed menu showcasing their creations and a certificate of completion to commemorate their culinary journey.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Andrea was an excellent instructor. I especially appreciated that after she would display how to pleat the siu mai and har gow skin, she came around each table to give assistance to those who needed help. Also, qwhen the har gow flour didn't work out, she was prepared for plan B. Her helpers also helped make the class run smooth. The class was fun!!!
