Learn how to properly roll sushi, make sushi rice and much more with Chef Ricky.
You'll learn how to make three types of vegan, gluten-free sushi in this sushi-making class with Chef Ricky. Each roll features unique ingredients for a special tasting experience.
First, you'll prepare a vegan "tuna" tataki featuring watermelon and sweet soy glaze. After cooking the perfect sticky sushi rice, you'll prepare fillings for each sushi roll, including jackfruit, avocado, eggplant and more, and Chef Ricky will show you professional techniques to properly roll sushi. Finally, you'll prepare (then enjoy!) traditional mango sticky rice.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ricky is a renowned chef instructor and research and development chef bringing nearly 40 years of experience to the table. He notes his greatest achievements to be developing and launching multiple successful Asian restaurants and business concepts as well as coaching an ACF team to two national championships. Chef Ricky specializes in Pacific Rim cooking and is passionate about enabling aspiring chefs to turn their ambitions into reality.
