What You’ll Do

Discover a Creole fusion menu that delivers the strong, zesty flavors associated with Louisiana cooking.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Theo, you will learn how to prepare a three-course Creole fusion menu that draws on West African, French, Spanish and American culinary traditions.

Some of the Creole recipes and dishes you can look forward to mastering in this class include Creole curry chicken thighs seasoned with a homemade spice blend and served with a Creole-style white rice, a deconstructed elote side dish enlivened with Creole spices, a homemade Georgia-style peach cobbler for dessert and a specialty non-alcoholic cocktail.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Theo also holds a master's degree in hospitality tourist management and runs his own catering and event planning business. He's eager to help budding chefs elevate their skills.
