Prepare a collection of classic bistro dishes in this cooking lesson on historic French cuisine.
The vibrant culinary history of France comes to life in this hands-on cooking class with Chef William. Discover the significance of these time-honored recipes as you learn how to make them from scratch.
Begin with a salade NiГ§oise topped with seared tuna, haricots verts, tomatoes and potatoes. Next, you'll prepare a classic coq au vin studded with mushrooms and bacon lardons and served with demi-glace pommes fondant. Finally, perfect two traditional French desserts: dark chocolate pots de crГЁme and black cherry clafoutis served with espresso.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef William is a highly talented and passionate culinary professional who brings more than 35 years of experience to the table. He holds three culinary degrees and is a Certified Executive Chef, Certified Culinary Educator and Certified Culinary Administrator. Chef William was named Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation, San Diego Chapter, in 2008 and has since earned many more awards and accolades for his work in the kitchen.
