Cooking Class - Pretty in Pink Cancer Awareness Dinner

What You’ll Do

Transform fresh, seasonal, cancer-fighting ingredients into a pretty in pink dinner for breast cancer awareness.

In this hands-on class with Chef Kathy, you will learn how to prepare a three-course dinner menu using a variety of naturally-pink ingredients which are also lauded for their cancer-fighting properties.

Chef Kathy will begin by teaching you how to use a mandolin to make beet carpaccio with walnuts, feta, basil, and pomegranate balsamic. Then, you'll learn to make kale pesto for your sautГ©ed wild salmon entrГ©e sided by turmeric-seasoned lentils and seasonal vegetables before ending with a bittersweet chocolate lava cake with fresh whipped cream and berries for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Kathy is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. Had a blast working in her beautiful home, and the romantic dinner candle-lit dinner we made with her tutelage was out of the world delicious!
