Cooking Class - Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza

Join Chef Daniel and learn how to prepare a gourd-geous meal starring freshly carved pumpkins.

In this hands-on class with Chef Daniel, you will learn how to properly carve a pumpkin, then prepare a three-course menu showcasing the versatility of freshly carved pumpkin flesh and a bounty of fresh, seasonal ingredients.

After carving your pumpkin, you will learn how to build layers of flavor and texture in a roasted delicata squash salad with chicory greens, hazelnuts, and chives. Then, you will prepare a pumpkin cream sauce for pumpkin carbonara with guanciale and kale before ending with cinnamon pumpkin churros with a homemade chocolate dipping sauce for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a wonderful evening with Chef Daniel getting all kinds of tips and instruction in making a really delicious meal. We had a lot of fun with the other guests and he did a great job explaining the ingredients and techniques and then dividing the tasks up between each of us. The meal was fantastic and the fact that we have leftovers an added bonus!

Chef Daniel was amazing, so warm and welcoming and showed us how to make a beautiful meal! He gives great tips on how do do “basic” (basic for him, that is!) tasks in the kitchen. I’d love to do it again! The meal was absolutely delicious! Homemade pasta was to die for, as was the entire meal! Thank you Chef Daniel!!
