What You’ll Do

Join Chef Pooja for a lively team building class, blending ingredients and spices of Northern India.

Chef Pooja will guide you in using lavish ingredients that created dishes the royal families in India's Mughal reign enjoyed. In this team building cooking class, you'll work together to create rich recipes fit for a royal's dining table.

Your team will begin by handcrafting vegetable kababs with a traditional yogurt-based chutney. Next, Chef Pooja will teach your team how to cook a spinach curry made with pan-fried paneer cheese and sided by saffron rice seasoned with mango powder and garam masala. Finish with a classic Indian dessert, vermicelli kheer.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Pooja did a great job explaining how to use North Indian spices to simplify delicious dishes. The lesson was easy to follow and she was very helpful answering any questions. Would be happy to take another class!

Chef Pooja showed my partner and I how to make some very tasty uttapams, dosas with a curry potato filling, and ladoo, all of which were new experiences for us! She was an expert guide in the cooking process, and did most but not all of the prep work, so we could participate a little bit in the prep as well as all the stovetop cooking. We also really liked the chutneys that were part of the dish! Pooja was also very personable and was easy to hang out with as we prepared and ate the food. We had a mix-up with timing for a previous reservation and she was very accommodating, and helped to plan a new time as well. All around a friendly, professional experience.
