Prepare the vanilla syrup. In a small pot, combine the water, raw sugar and salt. Stir to combine.
Over medium-high heat, bring the mixture to a boil. Once the mixture comes to a boil, lower the heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Simmer until the sugar dissolves, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and vanilla paste. Let the mixture cool before storing it in the refrigerator.
Prepare the vanilla latte. In a coffee mug, combine the vanilla syrup and espresso.
Top with the steamed and frothed milk. Stir to combine. Sip and enjoy!
Notes:
- Whole milk is traditionally used but any milk of choice can be substituted.
