Sriracha Bacon & Creamy Slaw Sliders Recipe
Sriracha Bacon Slab & Creamy Slaw Sliders
4 slabs of pork belly or bacon
4 scoops of Creamy Slaw
4 Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls or other slider buns
Directions:
Place pork into skillet, turn to high heat and sear both sides until caramelized, about 2 to 3 minutes
Toast rolls/slider buns until lightly crisp.
Place pork on bottom bun, top with slaw, close with top bun and enjoy!!!
Creamy Slaw
1 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 yellow onion, minced
1 carrot, grated
Вј cup Slaw Dressing
TT salt & pepper
Directions:
Cut head of lettuce into quarters, rinse and thinly slice.
Mince onion and grate carrot.
Mix together with dressing 10 minutes prior to serving
Slaw Dressing
1 tsp white wine vinegar
Вј tsp salt
Вј tsp pepper
1 TBSP veggie or canola oil
1 egg yolk, reserve egg white
1 tsp sugar
Directions:
Add vinegar, salt and pepper to bowl
Add oil to another bowl
Slowly drizzle oil into vinegar mixture bowl while vigorously whisking vinegar mixture.
Once all of the oil has been whisked in, add yolk, sugar and whisk until combined.
By adding egg, you now have a creamy and permanent emulsion.
Taste and adjust s/p and add more crumbles if necessary
