Slice the top and the bottom off of each brioche bun.
Prepare the custard. In a bowl, crack two large eggs, ⅔ cup of milk and vanilla extract. Mix until fully emulsified.
Dip the brioche bun into the custard for 3 seconds on each side.
Heat a nonstick pan or a griddle. Once hot, spread the butter on the hot pan until melted and sizzling.
Place brioche on one side and let it cook for 5 minutes, repeat on the other side until golden brown.
Sprinkle powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar or ground nutmeg on brioche the brioche french toast. Serve paired with honey fried chicken, fried eggs or salmon. Enjoy!
