In this private chef experience, Chef Mert shares a Michelin-inspired menu shaped by refined techniques, creative presentation and his experience in elevated kitchens. Begin with a tricolor salad featuring candied pecans, blood oranges and colorful greens. A halibut passion fruit ceviche awaits in the next course, followed by a stunning sea bass with sauce meunière. Dessert features a perfectly executed magnolia with banana wafers and wild berries.

Mert made my husband’s birthday unforgettable! He was not only an excellent cook delivering one of the best meals we’ve ever had in or out of a restaurant but was also a super interesting person who taught us so much about how and why he was cooking the way he was. If you’re at all interested in how the magic happens at restaurants this experience is far more than just a meal. More importantly he modified the menu to accommodate to any dietary restrictions and we couldn’t believe how good the gluten/low lactose alternatives were - most restaurants don’t have options this good for gluten/dairy free. Book Mert and you are guaranteed to have a time you won’t forget!

One of the best couple experiences we’ve had in our 5 years together. Food- Incredible! Best banana pudding my partner has ever had. Vibe-amazing! The views from Mert’s kitchen are breathtaking and his space is beautiful. Chef-Fantastic! Chef Mert was such a clear, kind communicator leading up to the dinner and made us feel so at ease while he cooked up legitimately some of the best food us east coasters have ever had. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a charming, easeful, and tasty dining experience.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas, and we loved it! Chef Mert was great. He showed up early to get started on the meal so that we could eat at our desired time, and he was a lot of fun during the process as well. My boyfriend and I love to cook, so we watched him and asked questions at all the various steps in the meal. Every course was extremely delicious as well and incorporated so many new flavors! I surprised my boyfriend with a cooking class for Valentine's Day gift and he absolutely loved it. Chef Mert was very welcoming, on time, organized and prepared for us to take his class. His directions were very clear both with his location and his cooking steps. It was our first cooking class and we were a little nervous but he gave us so many information about cooking; for example how to cut properly and tips for a meal to taste much better. We absolutely enjoyed the class and my boyfriend loved it! Menu was great and the food we made was delicious and very filling! Definitely go in hungry :) Thank you Chef Mert!!!!

Chef Mert did an amazing job cooking for myself and my wife! He showed up on time and was extremely respectful and fun to work with. The food was awesome and felt like a luxurious experience. Chef Mert was extremely fun! Not only was he super hands on with each cooking step but he also made sure to answer questions along the way no matter how off topic they were. He taught us some tips and tricks we will be using moving forward while cooking at home. The pasta was so fresh and easy to make with simple ingredients which was the biggest win.

This cooking class was phenomenal from start to finish. Chef Mert is wonderful in every sense. Every minute was a blast from the hands-on cooking to the eating…obviously… to the overall vibe, which was relaxed, fun, and perfectly paced. The food was incredible. It was restaurant quality, but somehow approachable enough that we left feeling confident and inspired rather than intimidated. In fact, we were so fired up afterward that we bought our own pasta-making machine and have since made the dish multiple times, including for friends and family… and it’s been a huge hit every single time. That’s the real mark of a great class: not just a great time, but skills and memories you keep using long after. Total success. Highly recommend for anyone whether its a date night, hanging with friends, or just a love of amazing Italian food. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!!

This Italian Date Night cooking class with Chef Mert was phenomenal from start to finish. Everything was thoughtfully planned, welcoming, and genuinely fun. Chef Mert is an excellent teacher. He explains each step clearly, keeps the class engaging, and creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and getting hands-on without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The food was outstanding. The crostini were packed with flavor, the homemade pappardelle carbonara was rich and perfectly balanced, and the tiramisu was the ideal way to end the night. You walk away not only having eaten an amazing meal, but actually feeling confident you could recreate it at home. This was a fantastic date night experience and easily one of the best cooking classes we’ve taken. Highly recommend
