Chef Alice reimagines Caribbean and Soul food classics with a modern twist in this private chef experience. Honoring traditional techniques and family recipes, the chef presents the signature flavors of these cuisines with a unique personal touch. Begin with a flight of tostones while the chef prepares your main course of either jerk or Southern fried chicken, braised greens and heirloom-recipe candied yams. For dessert, enjoy a New York style cheesecake with a soul food twist of sweet potato.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I hired Chef Alice for a 3 course meal I wanted to surprise my husband with for his 40th birthday. I, my husband and our guests were over the moon with Chef Alice’s food, presentation and ability to pivot on the fly when one guest needed an unexpected food accommodation. All of the food was delicious, and her cheesecake was beyond delicious with a smooth, velvet-like texture and surprising ginger (subtle, not intense) crust — everyone was raving about it. I would love to have Chef Alice cook for us again for another occasion. Chef Alice, you are fantastic!

This experience was awesome. Chef Alice was wonderful, she exceeded my expectations for the dinner. The entire meal was amazing! I would highly recommend and book her again. Food presentation was beautiful, as well her personality. Overall, this was very memorable!

What a fabulous experience from beginning to end. Alice’s energy is full of magnetic energy and filled our minds and bellies with delight. We loved how tidy she was but the food was fabulous. What a great chef and person to have at your next event. We will definitely use Alice again. Thank you!
