Chef Derrick was on time, friendly, and made good food. Overall we did this as an experience to celebrate a friend's 39th birthday. I should have communicated better, but I am used to cooking classes being hands on and assumed they were all the same. It ended up being Chef Derrick preparing everything and explaining while he does it. There was 3 of us ladies total and about 10 min into the session we ended up sitting on the couch chit chatting and drinking wine while Chef Derrick became our personal chef for the evening. It ended up being great in an unexpected way. I do recommend for anyone who is set on wanting a more hand on experience to communicate this expectation when working with Chef Derrick. We also had a small kitchen space and apartment so maybe that played a roll as well.

OMG - Wonderful! We enjoyed the experience with another couple. We knew it would be fun but were not prepared for how exquisite the food would taste. To have someone of Chef Derrickâ€™s pedigree come to our house and prepare that meal on a Saturday night was a total privilege. It is only due to his unique (and impressive) day job as an executive chef that he would be available. We learned so many cooking tips too. Plus Derrick has a wonderful, polite and humble personality.

Chef Mert was just fabulous. I can't say enough. My dad, brother, and I did the pasta making class- even though we are above novice in skill, we were able to learn so much from Chef Mert - not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. Could not recommend enough!

We enjoyed our evening with Chef Derrick very much. Derrick was very personable and explained the French Cuisine dinner from the prep to the cooking to the plating very well. Giving us useful tips along the way for even our everyday cooking. The dinner itself was very tasteful and satisfying. Chef Derrick brought everything to our kitchen from all the food to everything to cook it with. Looking forward to recreating the dish in the future, but probably not as well as Chef Derrick. Next time when we invite Chef Derrick over we'll have some friends join us. Thanks Cozymeal and Chef Derrick!!

Chef was excellent and made the evening enjoyable and informative. The ages of guest ranged from 19 to 57 and he engaged everyone to participate and offer input while answering all our questions. First he moved the time from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and he still could not make it. Then they moved the location from inside to the garage. The substitute chef was very nice, professional and basically saved the day. I doubt we will be using Cozymeal ever again.

I went for the croissant baking class. Instructor was great. Itâ€™s very disappointing that they donâ€™t provide ingredients and tools to each participant. In a class with 7 people we were given 2 sets of dough and materials to work with. Weâ€™d take turns rolling the dough, two people rolling or kneading or using the mixing stand while the others watched. Thatâ€™s not we signed up for. Please provide each participant with their own set of ingredients and tools to follow instructions. After all we donâ€™t split the cost of the class with the participants so why we are standing around watching as we take turns working with the 2 bowls of flour that was provided..
