My family (myself, spouse, 2 adult children) took the Tokyo Style Ramen class from Chef Shenya. Chef Shenya is an excellent teacher and very passionate. We learned so much during the class and appreciated his ability to share his knowledge and insights so effectively. Some of the things that really impressed me were: 1. A quality ramen broth takes significant time to prepare. Chef Shenya demonstrated the process and explained what was happening and what to expect. Each member of the class inspected and sampled the ramen broth at different stages and as new ingredients were added. We were literally able to see and taste the flavors developing at each sampling. 2. Chef Shenya explained the importance of quality ingredients and where to obtain them in this area. We have struggled to find the right ramen ingredients and now we know exactly where to look and what to get! 3. Chef Shenya shared his favorite restaurants both in this local area as well as in Tokyo. It is so nice to have this information. I would recommend this class to ramen lovers and groups of ramen lovers. Our class was 6 people and so much fun!
