Experience Hawaiian cuisine like never before with this curated private chef experience. Enjoy a playful fusion menu that showcases seasonal ingredients and traditional flavor profiles found in Japanese and Hawaiian dishes.

Begin with a light and refreshing appetizer of steamed edamame and taro hummus, dusted with furikake. For the main, crispy chicken served mochiko style with a pickled plum sauce and Asian chili aioli. For dessert, a play on pineapple upside-down cake made with a matcha cake, fresh pineapple compote and zingy ginger sherbet.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class was great! Chef Dean was so helpful and the food far exceeded our expectations! We even had leftovers we could freeze to have at a later time!

We had the most amazing experience with Chef Dean. I have an adult son with Down’s Syndrome, who loves to cook but needs guidance. For his birthday, I reached out to Chef Dean to inquire if he would be willing to do a private cooking lesson for my son, husband and myself. I explained the situation and Chef Dean quickly responded that he would love doing the session. Chef Dean had everything prepared and was so organized. We all had a recipes. Chef Dean helped my son one-on-one. My son was overjoyed about the experience, as was my husband and myself. The food was incredible and we even got to take over leftovers home. Chef Dean is so experienced, professional and a lot of fun! We are definitely meeting up with Chef Dean again for another lesson.

10/10!!! Chef Dean is such incredible teacher, he explains things so well and shares his knowledge in all aspects. My husband and I look forward to booking more experiences in the future. Such a fun and unique date night that we highly recommend for couples, family and friends. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the food was amazing (plenty of leftovers too that he packed for us). We absolutely loved the class, we will definitely be back for another one soon.
