Relish The Freshness Of Coastal Delicacies Paired With Tantalizing Salads And Fries

Crab cakes are a delight to eat as they are to cook in our fun cooking class featuring coastal specialties. Go hands-on as our Chef instructor guides you in properly handling shellfish, pan-frying techniques, and making delicious crab cakes. If you know how full a crab cake meal can be, get ready to cook a classic summery Aioli salad and shoestring tangy Fries to pair with. Indulge in the sweet decadence of a Blueberry pie as you savor this hearty coastal meal for the evening.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

The chef was excellent and the food was very good. But we noted that two of the stations had one attendee. These attendees did not have to share the setups and food among four people, they each got their own. Therefore they had double the amount of food given to everyone else even though they paid the same price for the class. This is not fair. I felt like we we should have received our money back for half the cost of the food.

Loved the class! Abrar was so engaging and had a lot of suggestions for even the most experienced coach cooks. She was extremely organized and watched over each couple as we made a French meal of scallops with sides and a Pear dessert. A really fun night out. Sur La TableвЂ™s test kitchen in Bethesda was large and accommodated the 12 participants. We ended the night with a wonderful meal and packed the leftovers to take home. I will definitely be taking another class.

The class was easy to follow, and I feel the recipes will be easy to replicate at home. This class should be 3 hrs long, not 2. The dough didn't have enough time to rise and didn't have enough time to bake. My focaccia bread wound up burning because the instructor was moving on with the class and the bread didn't get out of the oven fast enough.

Overall, the class was really fun! In a way I wish it was a tiny bit more challenging. It felt like we did a few knife cuts, then took a break and then cooked a bit before eating. All in all, I wish it had been a bit more difficult or ""fast"" pace wise. The food we made was really good, except for the pad thai which was disappointing. Also would be super nice to make a dessert!

Overall very informative. Adult only class would be a nice option.. Chef had amazing experience, very informative and knowledgeable. Should have a 5 min late policy. Late guests distracting. Would have liked a little quicker pace. Overall Very great seat up. Definitely an experience.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity
