Take a culinary journey around the world with this five day global food adventure
This 5-day cooking series designed for ages 7-11 will expand young chefs’ palates with intriguing international flavors. These immersive summer cooking classes will sharpen teamwork, basic kitchen skills and food safety practices while exploring tastes and techniques from Europe to Asia. The aspiring cooks will work together steaming pork buns, kneading dough for fresh pasta, baking crispy schnitzel and more. At the end of the series, each student will take home a printed menu and graduation certificate to celebrate their achievement.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
This event is suitable for kids aged 7-11
For public cooking classes, menu changes cannot be made. For private events, most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request.
