In this hands-on cooking series, aspiring chefs will explore cuisine from around the world. These 3 summer cooking classes are designed for ages 7-11 and led by an expert chef instructor. Little chefs will learn techniques and recipes to create world-class cuisine. They'll make savory steamed pork buns and make pasta from scratch using fresh ingredients. Practice essential cooking techniques, food prep skills and kitchen safety to become a confident little chef. Students will take home printed recipes to recreate their favorite dishes for their friends and family.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

We really enjoyed the class and the food. Chef Jeff and his assistants were informative and friendly, putting the group at ease. My crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had! I’m going to go home and replicate it now?

Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.
